I'm totally a layperson on the subject but the other day I thought about how far more devices in my house use DC than AC than 30 years ago. It seems odd that I convert solar to AC then back to DC.
I wonder if there's any future to running both an AC and a DC bus through the house, or if that makes no sense for reasons beyond my basic understanding.
