So `cat /tmp/hello.txt` does not read stdin from `/tmp/hello.txt`? Why does `cat /tmp/hello.txt` set stdout to `/tmp/hello.txt` this is confusing

Also his example ` exec 5<> /tmp/lines.txt` fails with ambiguous redirect.
