I know I wouldn't. In fact, about 10 years ago I started working 4 days a week instead of 5, taking a 20% pay cut. I wanted the extra day to be with my family, help out with school, etc. By switching companies and going back to working full time I could easily make 2x the amount of money I'm making right now, but it still wouldn't be worth it. I can always work more and make more money, but I will never get another opportunity to see my kids grow up.
