Does anyone else get a kick out of reading stuff like this, where people bitch about how much they hate JavaScript? I get a weird sense of enjoyment out of that, I love JS and so it feels like opportunity to me. I can certainly understand things that people don't like about Node, but if you think JS was the worst language ever designed then you're probably never going to like web development no matter what.
I don't understand disliking npm though, I think npm is pretty great. Every time I spend a bunch of time wresting with pip, coming back to npm is like taking a warm bath.
