All I want is to be able to write 500 to 1000 lines of code a day and not think about anything else while I do it. I just want to focus. I want to be prolific. Money is irrelevant if the thing a person wants to do doesn't require it. I can see how writing software can make someone a lot of money but if I was interested in money it is not how I would go about it. The people with wealth I know don't seem like they are doing it for the money -- they are passionate about making the deal. It is a game to them and the rules are simple, buy low and sell high.
